This movie set from War of the Worlds (2005) used to be JA8147 with All Nippon, now resides in Universal Studios in Hollywood, CA. It's amazing how much "wreckage" they managed to cut up out of one 747.

I believe this was used in "The war of the worlds" with Tom Cruise, but you can also see this scene in one or two photo by the famous photographer David LaChapelle.

This is from War of the Worlds. Did the Universal Studios tour recently which takes you right through the middle of the wreckage and they tell you it was used in that movie. Quite impressive when you see it up close.

This is in fact the set used in War of the Worlds. You can see it up close if you take the Universal Studio Tour...the road running through the wreckage is used for the tour tram.

Amazing shot, indeed without the caption I also would have assumed this was a real crash. Well done on the capture.

Amazing shot, it show up so many detail of the wrekages. However, just curious how the plane crash without damage to the cockpit+tail section? But it looks so real from the movie. Thanks for sharing :)

Before, I read remark, I was thinking "how did this 747 crashed on such small area?" ;) Nice photo.

I think it's odd that the airplane originally had CF-6 engines, but I only see one JT-9D and two RB-211's in the wreckage.

Nice interior view of the huge B747! I think it is All Nippon Airways - ANA with that blue paint.
