Many airplanes all together.... notice that behind the C-17 there is a plane that seems to be parked, but it is actually in flight!!! Great timing!

Incredible, nine decades of flying, from WWI birds to the Global Hawk. Also very interesting are the different sizes of the aircraft standing together.

Wow, I didn't know the B-17 was almost as big as a C-5! Also, didn't the pilot parked it over the taxyway?
Joke aside, great composition on many very interesting subjects! Oshkosh is just great!

There is a lot going on here. My eye was drawn to the activity in the ground, but it took me a few moments to realize that you managed to catch a B17 in flight right over Aeroshell Square. At first I was thinking "boy, I never realized how big the B17s are, almost as big as a Galaxy, wow..." Ha ha. This is kind of like Where's Waldo, but cooler lol.

Soo many things in the photo, first: the B-17 looks like static display, second: a Ford tent?, third: How big is the Galaxy?? fourth: which is the plane with long wings?

Cantbelievable! No, seriously, this is truly impressive. Good skill centering all that action. Very good eye.

Is that a C-130 parked behind the left wing of the C-5? It looks absolutely tiny compared to the Galaxy.

I was once landing behind it while it was at my local airport. I still remember the ATC call: "Nxxxx, left at Delta, give way to the B-17, taxi to park with me"

Fantastic photograph!! Such a wide variety, of everything, military and commercial - I just can't find Wally.

First I think: why B-17? It's not a largest plane on the pic. But then... Wow! What a catch!

Okay, now you have to admit that you were lucky that the flightpath was not exactly above the other planes but a bit off right so that you could frame the B-17 exactly into that gap in between all the other ACs... Incredibababale!

WOW! Just look at the wing span on the Global Hawk! Its so long! Even the C-130 looks small. Just compare it to the DC-3. Its not that much bigger!

Excellent catch of the Flying Fortress. Plus it's a great photo to play "name that plane" with.

I got to fly in that very B-17 about a week before this photo was taken. It visited the Fargo Air Museum where I work.

This photograph has to win some kind of an award!
How about a free, all expense paid trip back to Oshkosh 2011? I think they need to be using this shot in their promo material for the 2011 show. Matter of fact, I'm gonna write them a letter right now and tell them!

They are kind of cramped, but you certainly see a lot of different aircraft in one place.

One of the best shots on A-Net. Looks like the B-17 is parked on the ground but is larger than it really is. Totally awesome. The picture was snapped at exactly the right moment to make it look like it is parked among the rest. But it's really about the same size as the P-3 Orion, isn't it?

Had no Earthly idea how long the wingspan is on the Predator drone. Amazing.
