Aircraft Taken at More: Untitled More: Britten-Norman BN-2B-27 Islander More: Durban - Virginia (VIR / FAVG) More: South Africa, August 21, 2005 Remark Photographer ZS-PCJ (cn 869) This aircraft crashed just ofter 1 o'clock this afternoon into a house near Virginia Airport. The number of passengers on board is not known but thought to be between 6 and 8. All survived the crash and were removed from the wreckage. A visitor from Australia posted Wed August 31, 2005: Its unique in that you don't find many survivors after an accident like this. That there was no fire was a miracle as the damage could have been a whole lot worse.
