1990 Langley Park Fly-In. Built 1981, first registered 28 Apr 1981 to Barry Botham, who sold it in 1991. Still regd in 2010. The Midget Mustang, designed by Piper engineer David Long, first flew in 1948. Long died in 1950, and in 1959, Robert Bushby bought the design rights and tooling. He designed a two-seat version - the Mustang II, which first flew in 1966, available as plans or kits. In 1992 Bushby sold the rights to Mustang Aeronautics. Nearly 400 Mustang IIs have been built.
