Lost power on approach to 09R at FLL. This led to an emergency landing on a very small bit of field about 2 miles directly west of the runway threshold and under the flight path (an aircraft can be seen on approach over the pine trees). The aircraft wheels dug into the soil thus quickly stopping the aircraft but also causing substantial damage as evident. She has rotated 180 degress after first contact with the ground. Note the houses she just missed.

These aircrafts/air crew were all destroyed in aviation accidents. The crews walked away in some but not in all. RIP.
