Wide angle lense really makes the vis look great. I'll have to try the same shot when I fly this Sunday!

Straight out visibility is good in the 172, put I always find the beam on the left side gets in the way when attempting to clear for traffic on a left hand turn.

Good visability, when I first saw the photo I thought you had no front window, the visability is is so good that only a hang glider or microlight offers better

Hey Alex, nice shot. Very interesting perspective of a C172. I just flew to NC a couple of weeks ago! When did you go through there?? Still want to shoot at the Creek with you.
