Hi Fyodor! Beautiful, beautiful shot! The NYC skyline looking from downtown is a must!
Just out of curiosity: you remember what time it was when you took this photo?
I was in NYC with the wife that day, we were visiting the 9/11 Memorial.
I showed this photo to her and now we can't avoid asking whether "we were in the pic or not" from down there!
The photo of "Intrepid" is also amazing!
Best regards

Very well done photo. The "Freedom Tower" is officially known as One World Trade Center.

Guys who are nervous or upset from this photo (here and on FB). You looks a bit like from the parabel about two monks and a girl. Let the girl go. We have to remember the tragedy (and we do) but we have to live further. US Government made a great deal not to restrict flights over Manhattan. It shows confidence and power. And demonstrate clear position that freedoms must be protected from the terrorism but not given to it as a farming (I hope the same will be with airports' photography finally). I realy respect this position. And I hope to make you happy with more good shots of the great city from above. Hope for your understanding! Yours, Fyodor Borisov.

This image makes me nervous even sitting in front of my PC. I'd just feel really uncomfortable flying in that direction. Just sayin'...
