This B-24 was built by the Consolidated Aircraft Company in Fort Worth, TX in 1944 and delivered to the USAAF as “44-44052”. The B-24 was transferred to the Royal Air Force and the saw combat in the Pacific. After WWII the aircraft was abandoned by the RAF, but later flew with the Indian Air Force. After being stored in India and later the UK, the aircraft returned to the US in 1984 and was restored to flying condition. In 2005 the aircraft was repainted and named “Witchcraft“.
