A pair of exhibits at the War Eagles Air Museum - former USAF Convair L-13 and Cessna 140A (N992F). The L-13 was built in 1947 and served with the United States AF as 47-316. Now operated as a civil-registered warbird, in her original military markings. The L-13 was designed with two unusual goals: (a) it needed to be capable of being towed behind a Jeep - the wings & stabilisers folded so that it was no wider than the little truck; (b) it was capable of being launched on tow behind a C-47. Unusual.
