TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE 2013 from a Longtail Aviation Falcon 900B 600 miles southeast of Bermuda! We made history, the first airplane to intercept a high-speed eclipse of near zero seconds by intercepting perpendicular to the 4 km/s shadow of the moon.

For history, June 30 th 1973, over Africa, during nearly 75 minutes, at 17000m level, the SST prototype Concorde n° 1 has been the first plane which followed a total eclipse. Many scientifics were aboard the supersonic and have studied it. ;-)

Personnally, i was with my parent near Atar in Mauritania to contemplate this eclipse. Unforgettable !

An outstanding photography, thank you for sharing it!

@ visitor from France: Nice video, I think it could have been frightening to hear the sonic boom from Concorde just in time with the solar eclipse... ;)
