With an excess of retired Doves and Herons, the Sri Lanka Air Force decided to let the kids have this Dove. As you can see it is very popular. Brought in 1955 to equip #2 Squadron of the Royal Ceylon Air Force (became the Sri Lanka Air Force in 1972), this aircraft was one of six. The very first fatal aircraft of the RyCAF was sister ship CS-403 in Trincomalee,Sri Lanka (Dec 1958).
