This historic Moth dates from the mid 1920's and served with Holden's Air Transport Services and later Guinea Airways in New Guinea until September 1941 when it was written off after a hard landing at Wau. In 1942 the remains were bought by the S.A. School of Mines for use as an instructional airframe. Currently on loan to the S.A.Aviation museum from the S.A. History Trust.
