The prototype Hornet Moth first flew in May 1934 making this year the 80th anniversary. I was asked to set this photograph up on the lawn of Woburn Abbey with the permission of the Duke of Bedford. It has eleven of the twelve airworthy examples on the UK register present. It is in tribute to the Flying Duchess, Mary Russell, Duchess of Bedford who disappeared in her aircraft in March 1937, aged 71 years
