Aviation Heritage Museum. 42 DH-94s built in Australia. DH busy with wartime production. Del to RAAF 1.40 - 11.42, not suited for RAAF training, used in Empire Air Training Schools until replaced by Tiger Moths. DH-94s sold to private owners & aero clubs after WW2. This one had RAAF serial A21-12, served at Cunderdin & Pearce air bases in WA. Regd VH-AMI 11/01/46-19/12/47 & 02/03/48-11/05/51. WFU & restored. Regd VH-DDG 28/07/52-03/02/55. VH-THT 03/02/55 to 15/10/62. w/o 1961 nr Busselton, donated 1972.

I am 83 and this shot brings back memories of my last flight in one in 1954. This was one of the gentlest and most rewarding aeroplanes of all time to fly. Thank you for a shot that made an old man's hackles stand on end! Jack J
