This ex-Swiss 1954 Venom now wears very authentic RAF colours although the Helvetica serial digits are technically the wrong typeface and the boom roundels are Type A (pre-war) rather than the correct Type D. Nevertheless it looks superb, and gave a fabulous display at the Air Day commencing with a low fast pass in a vertical bank with the top surfaces towards the crowd. Previously registered G-GONE, it is owned by Aviation heritage Ltd of Coventry Bagington. (400D, anti-shake Sigma 80-400 & tripod)

I'm not a techie or a photographer, but this image just seems to perfectly frame the aircraft without any other clutter. The sharpness and contrast of the subject make it stand out.
