I flew cargo DC-6's into ATL for Challenge Air Transport in the late 70's early 80's. We parked at a charter terminal called Lockheed Air Terminal that usually handled people. We spent several hours there in the middle of the night so each of the crew members found a quiet hole to sleep in. I napped in the woman's rest room. There were two couches, one long and one short so I would race a C-46 copilot for the long one. Whoever landed second had to sleep with his legs hanging off the end.

I just love these old airliners with radial engines.
Espacially when they are beeing kept in such a perfect condition.I can just hear the sound of those big engines by looking at the picture.
