This was a normal approach. Runway threshold is just a few hundred feet ahead. Shot was taken at a gas station on the top of a small hill, thus giving this visual impression. Check at Google Maps "Av. Portugal, 4334 - Belo Horizonte", northbound of RWY 13. You can see this gas station - an excelent spotting point - on Google Street View. Regards, SkyLiner.

Oh my! This is an alarming scene!! Hopefully the runway isn't more than a few feet further ahead! Yikes! What an Incredible shot!

A pretty plane. With this rather classic cheatline livery, this Embraer suddenly looks a bit like a small, two engine DC-8-72. The same proportions, window spacing, relatively small vertical stab, the same downward-pointing nose. First time that I see these similarities.
