A frontal view of the Great War Flying Museum's Fokker D.VII that crash landed in a field adjacent to the 2007 Geneseo Airshow. Fortunately the pilot walked away unhurt. Note the broken prop, bent undercarriage, and ripped skin covering.

A sad picture indeed. In 2005 this plane was pictured in Warbirds Evolution by Max Haynes, which was one of my first books on planes.
