A wonderful aircraft, would love to know if any are still about or even flying

Except for the water line on the hull, the authentic colors of willow green, lemon yellow and aluminum varnish impressed me. i assume the top of the upper wing is chrome yellow. i love the paint and the plane.

Some history on this beauty .... This Grumman J2F-4 Duck, s/n 1649, was at NAS Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, operating with the First Utility Squadron VJ-1. At Ford Island during the Japanese attack, this Duck not only survived unscathed, but is thought to have been one of the first to be used to seek the Japanese fleet. Active throughout WW2, this Duck was sold on the surplus market and operated until sinking in a Bahamas lake in 1955. The airplane was salvaged in the 1990s and fully restored to flying status by Wichita Air Services
