A visitor from - posted Thu July 9, 2009: Looks pretty similar to the 787 cockpit, this is maybe the plane that Boeing based the cockpit design on but the instruments and avionics of the 787 are by Rockwell Collins.
A visitor from - posted Tue March 3, 2009: It's not a sunvisor cover. It is the cover for the HUD/EVS screen. We often use it in that very position in flight to block the morning sun on those 14 hour eastbound flights.

With those external cameras "targeting" the hot dog stand! I have to agree it would look better with joysticks Also you gotta love the sun visor notice "remove before flight"....probably a good idea if you wanna get the jet off the ground. lol.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed March 26, 2008: Fantastic flight deck. Straight out of Star Trek Voyager - seriously! I cant help but feel that this cockpit needs some sidesticks in place of those yokes to give a totally unobstructed view of those wonderful screens!
