This Hunter started its life as ET-272 with the Denmark Air Force, serving with Esk724 from Aalborg until retired in 1974. It was acquired (minus the nose section) and used as spares ship for G-HUNT and G-BOOM. In 1985 she became gate-guard at Biggin Hill, using the nose of Hunter F.6 (XJ690). Now on display as a memorial to the founder of the Bournemouth Aviation Museum, Mike Carlton.
