The early morning lighting definitely enhances the beauty of the this airplane. She is being readied for the day's activities which were curtailed prematurely after the No.1 engine failure. I wrote about my experiences that day in Propliner issue 70.

Sad that picture doesn't show the triple tail in full. other than that it's an excellent picture. Between 1949 and 1953 i was a passenger on constellations from the uk to trinidad.

Great short of and old Air Force plane that I saw my uncle leave Shaw Air Force leave in when I was young.
