5 stars very clear photo of something that you don't see it every day.
how are the cockpit on this helicopter?pilots on the bigger down andnavigator or something else on the smaller up? can somebody help?

The windows above the flight deck must be the crew rest quarters for those long-haul flights! Those engines look kinda small. I'd hate to have to manage an engine out situation.

See this for detail on this craft. Accordingly, it states the upper windows were for the navigator and radio operator behind him, while the main windows contained the flight deck - pilots, engineer.

The engines are connected by a shaft that goes through the wing. Thus an engine out situation does not result in catastrophically asymmetrical lift. This approach was later borrowed by American V-22 Osprey aircraft.

I'm trying to think of the advantages of a transverse dual rotor over a tandem dual rotor and can't think of any. Why would you design an aircraft with this configuration as opposed to that of a Chinook?
