This is the crater of the Worlds Highest Active Volcano!!!! Amazing, we were flying at 19500 ft, and we did a few turns around the crater just to observe this. One of the most amazing sights ever. Those clouds you see are volcanic gases, prooving that Cotopaxi is heating up. Special thanks to Sergio and Diego! (Olympus C-770)

I like the picture!! it has the volcano so close, the airplane wing where you see Ecuador's identification (HC),and I don't know if it is my imagination but I see the pilot's face reflected with his oxigen mask in the middle of the volcanic gases, good camara, excelent photographer,perfect place.

It is a great shot, because it is such a rare sight to see the inside of a volcano..specially such a high one in the Andes... Congrats.
