Remark Photographer
N8677E / C5-T (cn 122-41405) This shot was taken from below looking up at the underside of the P-51's nose as the skies over Oshkosh darkened ominously. The fill flash against the dark boiling skies overhead give the plane in this image a sense of being removed from the background.

What a dramatic composition! It's a simile to the theater of operations this aircraft saw in the dark skies brought on by WWII. How so very fitting for such a bird.

Wow, stays on my desktop for a long time. I just love the power and beuty of the mustang. It's probably the fastest one-prop plane in the world withe a max speed at over 800km/h. Magnificent photo, with lovely colors and contrast.

Fantastic shot - love how you got the exposure spot on to capture the foreground AND the background.

What a unique scene!

The fill light on subject gives the shot depth as it enhances the contrast against the stark background, i like the unusual angle, it's well framed, minimal flash hot-spot on the subject, i like the partial illumination of the bottom right side of the fuselage.
