seen at the Airshow Lelystad 2004. This jet, delivered to the USAF in 1949 as 48-178 and serving as such until 1958, was restored to flying condition during the early 1970's by Ben Hall. He also painted it in the Korean War 4th FIW markings it still carries today. Its current owners bought the jet in 1990 (ex N178, N68388), and first flew it on 21 May 1992.<br>The Sabre is still in perfect flyable condition today, and is now one of the world's oldest flying jets!
