Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Clifford Evans and George Truman circled the globe in their Piper Super Cruisers, covering 35897km from August 9th to December 10th, 1947. The first time by a light personal aircraft. Evans flew the "City of Washington" (NX2365M) while Truman flew the "City of The Angels" (NX8671M) which is now at the Piper Aviation Museum in Lock Haven, PA. Flags of each nation visited were hand painted on the left side of the fuselage. (Canon 350D + 17-55 IS + 430EX)
