I'm a planemodeller and my favorite singlemot-WWII-plane is beside the P-51 the famous P-47. For modellers like me this pic is great to use,'cause i can see many details of the radial-engine.

This is such a fascination shot of the complexity and compactness of the powerplant on this aircraft. The photo really strips away the "airplane" and focuses on the propulsion.
