 A visitor from - posted Sat November 27, 2010:The machines' existance is realistically represented. it's military provinance is "in your face", declared with the only proper face paint, yet it is obviously in civilian service. the n# is secondary to the military designation, yet joined by 'ol glory. but it is the photographer's stance that makes the photo. the prop is spining at idle, the stick-jock is attentive to all indicators, the canopy is not "open"-- just set for quick "flip and shut". lucky you are to frame this moment from your vantage; feeling the heat, the engine noise, and the prop stir. but in your minds' eye you're in the air, right beside him, just glancing at the fellow beside you, i guess. he turns his pilots' sunglasses in your direction. three seconds pass. you give him a slow, not military grade salute-- and for a monent you're just glad to be there. | |
