National Air and Space Museum. The original “Spirit of St. Louis” flown by Charles A. Lindbergh on May 21, 1927, completing the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight in history. Lindbergh started his historic flight from Roosevelt Field in Long Island, N.Y., and after flying 5810km in 33 hours and 30 minutes, he landed in Paris, France. (Canon 350D + 17-55 IS + 430EX)
