The Tunnan is actually a tiny plane. Fat and tiny.

A crisp, clear shot of a lovely old plane, impressive that it was still flying in 2009! You can clearly see the global evolution of jet fighters mirrored in the Saab series - Draken, Viggen, etc. I miss those days!

Tunnan is swedish for barrel:) Who said scandinavians don't have a sense of humour? By the way, it's performance was quite good in its day.

Not bad from a country of 9 million people. To be able to alone produce one fighter per generation. All of them concidered to be leading for their time.

Looks like something out of the Thunderbirds. Probably from the same era as those super marionettes. FAB!

This plane looks like one of those birds you see in a junk yard , missing nose or tail parts.
Great pics. Thank you

India with resource of 1250 million people concluded a Fighter Jet named as Tejas. It is worthy of replacing the aging fleets of Mig 21s. Most systems of Tejas are hired from different countries

I duckling on the ground, a swallow in the skies, or something like that the test pilot summed up the first flight. Still applies! :)
