HB-ONE (cn 12491) "The dancing L4" (shot 1 of 2)! This L4 was hit by a gust of wind while landing in Triengen. The aircraft made a 360 afterwards. Luckily nobody was injured.

The pilot is giving full left rudder becasue they are turning to the right. All the control inputs look correct, even though at this stage the pilot is merely a passenger.

"Last time I landed here I was flying the yellow cub with the big 'C' on the vertical fin....HEY! There it is!" :)

This photo is an excellent example of a pilot attempting to control yaw with the ailerons rather than the rudder and using the wrong rudder pedal input to boot!

The picture really shows the power of the groundloop. The force on the left wheel, the full left rudder, and the left wing keeping the aircraft from rolling over is excruciating to watch. The action seems faster in a still photograph then it probably was in real life.

Full of action this picture dynamic!!

Excellent capture! Perfect timing. It's interesting to note the left deflection on the rudder. That surely wouldn't be helping.
