G-ISDN is shown here on final to Staverton’s Runway 27. Just out of shot is Jet-Ranger G-PSHR which held close formation and was apparently functioning as a camera ship throughout this short flight. This is one of two Stearmans that share a hangar at Oaksey Park (the other being G-ILLE). It was built in 1941 for the US Army and subsequently registered N4197X before import to the UK. Intriguingly, it bears the legend ‘U.S. Army’ written in reverse under the wings. (400D, Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod)
