This photo shows the plane for it's beauty, not it's original intended purpose.

This aircraft started out as Spitfire FR XIVc NH904 and currently flies as N114BP in the 80 Squadron codes as 'W2-P' with the Palm Springs Air Museum, although that unit did not fly this variant. The red paint scheme was worn while operated by the Belgian Air Force as G-FIRE before being exported to the United States in 1989.
