Sanicole Airshow 2006 - Great aircraft (like "Janie", this beautiful Yak 52 registered G-CBSS) - Great flying displays : Red Arrows, Patrouille de France, Breitling Formation, Christian Moullec and his birds, Ali and his very Special 400 HP Pitts, Belgian Air Force Fouga and F-16, B-25 Mitchell, etc ... and great weather for a very nice day out ! Phil.

Very nice indeed ! Very shiny ! One of the best looking Yak 52 I have seen. Simple color scheme but very classy lady. Good picture as well.

I have seen this beautiful Yak in Gap-Tallard (LFNA) today. Take-off runway 21, gear-up and roll at the end ... boy !! "Janie" sure is a good flyer ! Have talked to the pilot, really nice chap from Belgium on vacation with his family in the area ... and then this afternoon I saw him having fun over the Lake (Lac de Serre-Ponçon) : vertical rolls, stall turns, avalanches, immelmans, cuban-eights, etc ... a joy to watch and also the beautiful sound of the 9 cylinders radial engine !
A really nice summer afternoon in the South of France.

Very nice aircraft based in Belgium (Namur - EBNM) and flown by a Boeing 747-400 Airline Pilot who is also an aerobatic instructor ! Lucky boy !

This Yak 52 now based Cerfontaine airfield (EBCF), Belgium. Also know as Gravity Park : http://www.gravitypark.be/
There you can live the dream : buy your own house on the airfield with a hangar for your aircraft !

Indeed, "janie" is now spending most of her flying time in the good old United Kingdom ... not far from where we live.

Like the name of this Yak-52 : Janie ! Guess aircraft with a lady's name fly better.
