This magnificient flying machine (and pilot - from Belgium or France ??) was the Winner of the Yak 52 Acro Trophy (donated by Yak UK) in Breighton in April 2006. Also present was the famous Yak 52 pilot from Russia Gennady Elfimov from Skytrace Yak 52 training. I think you can find more details on the British Aerobatic Association website. It was a competition organised to practice for the first FAI Yak 52 World Aerobatic Championship in South Africa.

A few years ago this charming YAKOVLEV model 52 was based in Belgium (Namur airfield). Flying in formation with another YAK-52, it was very nice to watch.
