Remark Photographer
PR-LGD (cn 48408/457) Flight 8988 arriving from Mexico City is turning toward the cargo apron at Los Angeles International. The local time is now 7:01 am; hence, the first winter sunray of the day makes this image turned in the yellowish hue. Crews in the flight deck seem to be a bit tired when they have accomplished their overnight flight all the way from Brazil. This might be one characteristic angle of this good looking MD-11. The angle of horizontal stabilizer makes this photograph even better.

This is just perfect. Nice and clear. Great Angle. Subtle light.

Love it! Of all the time I lived there I never made it out that early in the Winter...makes me want to go back! Great job!

In 1928, the Los Angeles City Council selected 640 acres in the southern part of Westchester as the site of a new airport for the city. The fields of wheat, barley and lima beans were converted into dirt landing strips without any terminal buildings.
