Turning left to complete Julliet 7 approach to RWY02. Probably one of the most spetacular approaches in the world. Check how close to Sugar Loaf we are! Thanks to Fernando and Rangel for this great flight! [Canon EOS 30D - Brenda]

No doubt one of the most, if not the most, spectacular traffic patterns in the world. In one of the most beautiful countries of the world. Requires a skilled and accurate pilot flying. 5 stars.

Amazing! That copit looks very modern for a -300. Sugar Loaf has seen its share of planes flying by very close!

In 11th January 2003 I was in a flight from SBFZ (FOR) gearing to SBRJ (SDU) and I can say by experience that all the procedure, from approach to landing, is one of the most frightening experiences I had in my life. The feeling about colliding against the Sugar Loaf and the descent where you don't see the runway and it seems you'll crash land on the sea of the Guanabara bay... Oh, boy... Great picture, but one needs to be in the airplane to _feel_ the G force of the photo.

Great picture, although it must be a little scarry for the passengers with the plane passing so close by Sugar Loaf. And about the view, it's just magnificent. It's a pity the runway cannot be seen. Congratulations, it's an A-1 picture. It gives a lot to enjoy.

Full flaps, gear down and locked, Autobrake set 3, Ground Speed 151 knots! You can choose the approach: swerve the sugar loaf or over the Rio-Niteroi bridge! Anyway, astonishing.

The instruments are not off if you look closely at the top left one, it's just the camera doesn't pick their displays up properly
