Finnair recently bought a used MD11 from Varig. After reading a story about that plane this photo doesn´t surprise me so much.

The central gear was lost after touchdown in runway 11R/29L from SBBR. The belly suffered great damages, but no passenger was wounded.
Currently the aircraft was stored in gate 14 at SBBR, awaiting repairs.

We fixed her (Boeing AOG Long Beach) She flew to italy to become freighter for Aeroflot now she sits in the desert waiting for her next job..
