A pocket aircraft you can take anywhere. T.B.
Probably the biggest kite fitted with an engine! - doubleC Mw
Where can I get one? :P | |
My goodness, it's a flying empenage. It might be a prop out of a James Bond movie where the bad guys tried to shoot James's plane down but he just quips something witty at them and flys away in the empenage. Oh Q, you've done it again. The tightness of this shot really makes it great for those of us who haven't seen this aircraft before.
Excellent shot, a unique aircraft indeed. I love how the spinner blends almost flawlessly with the aircraft. If I were to ever build one, (Assuming it's a kit plane) I'd name it "Kelly Johnson's Go Kart"
Looks awesome!! | |
The Verhees Delta is a regular visitor at EBZR. You can see this weird aircraft at the fly-in at EBZR and sometimes at the photo flight days. This guy sits on his fueltank. In such a small aircraft, I wouldn't like that!
a few question to the owner of the "aircraft" in question;(1) wheres the engine & what kind is it. (2)and how much leg room is there (if theres any) in the cockpit. if any body has some answer please post.
How do you actually get in that thing?
Probably the closest attempt to recreate a bumblebee. Cool!
To the other vistitor from Belgium: I must have been standing next to you, I heard and saw the same thing! The elevator trim on this bird is nothing more than a piece of bendable iron with a servo engine, very unique.
Nice! Less is more. | |
I believe I saw this one at EBZR once. They radioed the pilot to ask him about the type of plane he was flying, and he replied 'delta'. A few minutes later, everyone on the airfield stood outside to have a look at this strange bird...
I've seen this aircraft flying above EHDR, for a moment you'll think UFO's do really exist!
I think I can see the string that holds it in the air!
Looks kinda like a paper plane... Very weird thing...
This is a plane????? | |
Agreed! Definitely like the XF-85, only all wing. I wonder how it flies?
Small and weird like the McDonnell XF-85 Goblin.
Thats a weird looking thing. reminds us of the the lippisch p 13
