Remark Photographer
(cn BAPC.51) This is the actual aircraft in which John Alcock and Arthur Whitten Brown made the first ever non-stop flight across the Atlantic on 14-15 June 1919. The aircraft was rebuilt by Vickers at Brooklands and presented to the Science Museum by the Vickers and Rolls-Royce companies in December 1919. On display here at South Kensington for an amazing Eighty-Six years!
