G-VSSH (cn 615) The cabin crew have closed the window blinds and set the mood lighting to allow some pax to have a sleep. It's an 11h56m block time on today's VS251 from Shanghai to London.

Actually, I prefer British Airways to Virgin Atlantic. British Airways has more professional service.

Unbelievable how Virgin has made this and other beautiful airplanes in it's fleet so shockingly beautiful and eye catching with great attention to detail....Great job catching the actual look and feel of the mood in the aircraft. It shows how the long interior of the 600 really plays a big part in the look of the aircraft after adding some designs.

A visitor from United States posted Mon July 3, 2006:
That would be awesome to fly in... but still, no matter how good the comfort is for the passengers, I'd rather be flying the bird.

A visitor from United States posted Sat July 1, 2006:
If I am paying that kind of money for a seat, I'll sure as heck be looking out the window!

A visitor from United States posted Thu June 29, 2006:

A visitor from Greece posted Thu June 29, 2006:
It's cool to make a long flight!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed June 28, 2006:
The overhead bins on the centre section are taken away to increase the feeling of more space. Very Nice cabin apart from the seat layout.

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 28, 2006:
Oooo...

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Great photo, love the lighting! Considering that there are half the number of pax in UCS, there is no need for center overhead storage bins.

A visitor from Mexico posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Well, the pax can have a little peep openin´ a little the windows. There´s no problem with that. T.B.

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Five stars for the pic, 0 stars for herring bone seating! The cabin does look good with this lighting, reminds me of a VIP room in a nightclub :-)

A visitor from Israel posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Deep purple!!!

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Nice colours! The A340-600 is a very comfortable aircraft but VS put the seats sideways so its not that great!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Tue June 27, 2006:
It's an Airbus A340 :-)

How do you get around in the dark?

Where are the overhead storage bins for people in the centre section of the plane?

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Tue June 27, 2006:
YEH! Whats up with closing the windows though man?

A visitor from Canada posted Tue June 27, 2006:
WOW !!! Beautiful colors and good shot John.

A visitor from Germany posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Looks beautiful and very comfortable but I don't like it when the FA close the windows! I pay for the flight and have the rights to look out the window! ...

A visitor from Germany posted Tue June 27, 2006:
Quite wonderful shot of a very very moody illumination! Love this photo, as also the A340

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 27, 2006:
What if someone want to enjoy the aerial views?... Why would a passenger book a window seat then he’ll be asked to close his window?!! It just doesn’t make sense to me!!
Regards from SoCal.
