A visitor from United States posted Sun June 1, 2008:I have to say I envy you this shot it just emphasises what a huge bird the 600 is. I have never flown on one but from everything I have read it appears to be a comfortable flight
A visitor from Germany posted Sun June 1, 2008:It's the cowling of the thrust reverser. It just has a different color than the Virgin Atlantic red. May the technicians where this bird had the last maintenance only had a white cowling case available.
A visitor from Germany posted Sun June 1, 2008:This is an Airbus 346. The white strip es a new reverser without paint. I think after a repair, there where no time to change it in red.
A visitor from United States posted Sun June 1, 2008:It is just an engine cowl that has been replaced and hasn't been repainted yet. Great shot of one loooonnnnnng airplane!
A visitor from United States posted Sun June 1, 2008:That is one LOOOONG airplane, kinda like a scaled-up DC-8 Super 60 series. Great shot!
A visitor from United States posted Sun June 1, 2008:My mom went on the airbus a340-642...she said it was good
A visitor from Germany posted Sun June 1, 2008:I know it isnt, but ir really looks short more like a -500.... one question, what is that white strip on engine 2?
