G-VRED (cn 768) Soon after reaching the East Coast, a nice shot of the cabin whilst enroute LHR-JFK. The A346 was a pleasure to fly on, and the 2-4-2 seating made it feel much less cramped than many other wide-body jets [400D]

I normally fly Upper with Virgin Atlantic, but a few weeks back, I flew Economy from LHR to LAX, and I was very impressed with the seat in economy, quite comfy if im honest, with good service!

Simply Wonderful

Look farther ahead then - it is definately 2-4-2. The 2-3-2 is just the last few rows.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Fri July 18, 2008:
You are bot right, it's a 2-4-2 and a 2-3-2 seat configuration.
And it looks pretty good from the inside this Virgin 340-6

Great photo, flew on one of those birds with LH just last week. To the previous poster, the A346 has a 2-3-2 configuration in the back few rows. The rest of Y is 2-4-2.

A visitor from France posted Fri July 18, 2008:
2x4x2 in the main cabin in Y, 2x3x2 in the last rows at the rear where the fuselage is narrower, like on all the A330/A340 family.

A visitor from New Zealand posted Fri July 18, 2008:
Only 2-3-2 towards rear of aircraft i.e last 6 rows. Otherwise is 2-4-2. great aircraft

Good Shot but looks like a 2-3-2 seating plan
