N3**** Heads up display on a B-737-832, shot at dusk. The vertical display on the left is airspeed, the one on the far right is altitude. Pretty cool huh. With this HUD Delta is certified to hand fly a single engine Cat III approach. Yes really. [Canon EOS 10D]

Excellent photo. Beautiful scene and an excellent perspective with all the relevant information.

I'm a bit jealous I never got to use a HUD in my NG days...thank you for sharing. I miss the Boeing a lot. Nevertheless and while being smart ;) the 320 has been certified for quite some time to continue CAT III single engined. Still Boeing is more fun. Really nice shot.

That's a Rockwell Collins Flight Dynamics HUD for the 737. Also flown on Southwest, Korean, SAS, Alaska, military 737s, and various others.

I feel like I'm there! Love the brightness of the HUD display and the colours outside the beyond the windscreen. I didn't know that the 738 had HUD (is it optional?). I'm guessing the pilots would love it though. And yes, it is pretty cool.

Wow, that is cool! When I first saw this, I thought you were flying on an F-16 or somethin' like that! Does anybody know if and which other airlines are gonna take or already have this stuff?
Btw, this pic also shows a pretty neat sunset effect! Good job!
