G-VSHY (cn 383) Nothing SHY about this long bird making a landing at LAX. I was sitting under the approach lights with my girlfriend and told her after the next heavy we would leave (thinking I would have plenty of time). Little did I know the next aircraft would be a heavy A340-600 with huge red engines!
