G-VBUG (cn 804) Just after 8am, one of Virgin Atlantic's beautiful A340-600s is captured gently taking off from Runway 31L and heading home to London. On this day, "Lady Bird" operated the carrier's first flight, a trip which enables passengers to arrive in England on the same day they leave New York. It's always a pleasure to watch these big busses perform their procedural bank over Howard Beach! [Canon 40D]
