How do you get this close? Give me a lawn chair and a cooler and I could sit right there all day. The Queen never fails to impress.

Everything about this photo is perfect. A crisp, warm, LA evening, sun shining perfectly on the Virgin beauty, condensation in the motors. It really couldn't get any better. Well, unless I was there to see it in person ;)

The visible air in the engines makes this photo beautiful.

They don't look better than this: a clean aircraft just lifting off, vapor in the nacelles, visible wing flex, and excellent undercarriage detail, all bathed in the warm glow of the evening sun. I'm only wanting a higher resolution image. Excellent.

One of the finest things in life is seeing a 747 take off. Captured in a classy style here.
