Great Cockpit!
I'd rather have this baby blue in my office than Boeing's brown

Very spartan environment or do they need to add more equipment?, that blue-turquoise color is reminiscent of the old soviet days. They should change it.

Everything looks nice and safe....aside from the color!

In real life the color is a bit different, it is not that blue as it seems on the pic because of the flashlight. This specific color for the instrument panel has been chosen after many years of research by different scientific establishments. I believe it is the best.

I wish russian aviation industry all the best but they have some technological gap to bridge as it is clearly visible on this very good photo.

Great picture! I love the "Russian Blue" cockpit and the unique Embraer/Airbus/Boeing yoke. I had a friend that flew on the type (possibly even this very aircraft), and she experienced a several hour delay when an engine failed and they needed to fly a dependable '154 out to get her.

Great photo,
I'm not entirely sure how the colours make it a worse plane, but some of you seem to have no problem claiming it does.
Perhaps there sitting in the CIS saying "Those Boeing's and Airbus's look stupid with there brown and grays"

Visitor from India is right it's not that blue.
problems with the colour? c'mon people don't sound like children it's an airplane not a toy

It is neither an airplane nor a toy. It looks like a home built flight simulator instead. Someone got plywoood, rubber, plastic, some screws, nails and glue and here we go. Oh, and this fresh can of paint - I can practically smell this paint, he, he.

Visitor from the US of Thu April 13, Why do you think that the russians need to bridge any technical gap, especially according to this picture? It seems to me that the layout, organisation and complexity of this cockpit is a lot simpler and clearer... I would also like to remind you of the Su-37 and other great (and lots cheaper) russian birds...

I personally think its stylish. At least they aren't following the cookie cutter crowd. Big props to the Russians for doing their own thing. C'mon people, it's a plane, not a car.

Im not sure I like the color but it is something unique to Russian avation. The layout and instumentation looks as moder as any Boeing or Airbus, however I must say I an partial to a Boeing style yoke.

Tu 204/214 are the really great birds! So beautiful, so advanced... Tupolev once said, that only beatiful planes are good.
Color of the cockpit is the result of researching of some psychologists and specialists of ergonomics. Remember that jetliner is not a furniture. It should give information and provide pleasant control. That's it !
