N4425V / M434 (cn 79-326) A/c delivered new 23. December 1943 as 42-89607 to AAF Basic Pilot School, Merced AAF, California. The BT-13, a basic trainer, was affectionately nicknamed the “Vultee Vibrator”. Known as Vultee Aircraft Company from 1932 through 1947, it disappeared into Consolidated-Vultee, later Convair and finally General Dynamics.
